Having seen twenty-four impressions between its first and 1999, the Christian Brothers' "First Steps in Irish" has been a staple for most of the 20th century.
Think of it as Buntús Cainte meets Traditional Textbook.
Similar approach to what Buntús thinks is important that you know (with a somewhat antiquated vocabulary word here or there), but including easily understood grammar and exercises.
